91 Pts Robert M. Parker, Jr., The 100% Grenache cuvée, the 2014 Grenache El Diablo Fallen Angel comes from Russian River, saw 30% stems and was produced from "Chateaneuf du Pape suitcase clones." This has pure kirsch, lavender, licorice and spice, medium body, surprisingly modest alcohol for a ripe Grenache (15%), loads of fruit and, again, a Southern-Rhône-like personality. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.

"Savory and smoky, with a plump and polished structure. Floral black raspberry aromas lead to zesty, layered flavors of dark plum and licorice. Drink now through 2026." -TF

Deep rich color of black cherry red. The expansive palate is very forward and lush. This leads to a sweet mid-palate. A composite of black and red fruits that have savory notes bring life and freshness to this exotic wine.
