2015 misc. stuff GSM Blend

An over the top vibrant and rich color draws you in to aromatics of lavender and violets, roasted red pepper, black cherry and wild red raspberries. On the palate this wine is both lush and structured. It's multi-layered with charcuterie, wild brush of rosemary, lavender and thyme.

Wine Profile
92 Pts Jeb Dunnuck The 2015 Misc Stuff is another blend from Cohn that does everything right. Made from 55% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and the rest Mourvèdre, from multiple sites in Sonoma, it has an uber ripe, sexy style as well as loads of black cherries, plums, Asian spices, and licorice aromas and flavors. Ripe, yet balanced and never over the top, with nicely integrated acidity, drink it over the coming 4-5 years. 92 Pts Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Miscellaneous Stuff displays notes of baked plums, stewed cherries, dried mulberries and blackberry compote with touches of unsmoked cigars, baking spices, garrigue and underbrush. Full-bodied and jam-packed with dried berries and spicy layers, it has a chewy texture and lively lift to the finish.
90 Pts Connoisseurs' Guide Sporting the usual strawberries of ripe Grenache but going a bit further with dark berries and spice joining in and showing fine integration to its rich, very Rhône-like aromas and flavors, this well-made wine is both big and balanced with plenty of fruity authority. It hints at suppleness to come, but is very sturdily built with ample tannins cautioning against hasty drinking, and, as impressive as it may be at the moment, it is still a good four or five years away from fully coming into its own.
