Vibrant black cherry red in color with aromatics so southern Rhône in nature but so expressive of the magic old vine Zinfandel can produce from hillside volcanic soils of Moon Mountain. Beginning with freshly cracked peppercorn crusted dry aged steak, black cherry cola with wisps of smoked rosemary and sage, the main focus is a mélange of red, black and white peppercorns and toasted rye bread with caraway seed, black licorice and black cherry. Full bodied, concentrated and well focused, this wine will leave you wanting another glass.
