The color of this wine reminds me of the saying: Its always darkest just before the dawn. I can tell you the moment before the dawn can’t even come close to how opaque this wine is. Aromatically this wine covers the gamut from blackberry pie filling, lavender, wild herbs and even a hint of stone fruit one could spend at least 10 minutes just looking at the color and partaking of the aromatics. This wine is the Full Monty from the first sip, to the end of the glass. Blackberry, black currant, salted black licorice, and air dried beef. This wine is screaming for a cool winters nice and a crackling fire.
