Our Rhône Inspired Reds are part of our history at Jeff Cohn Cellars. Jeff's love of Rhône varietals further developed as his relationships with Rhône winemakers evolved. Jeff enjoys blending to coax the minerality and depth from our Rhône varietals creating a more French influence in our California wines.
The mineralty of this wine is up front and center, with red and black fruits intermingling, with clay and cinnamon stick in the higher tones of the aromatics that also start to showcase savory notes.

Lush and soft but structured with sweet minerally tannins that keep this concentrated blackberry and savory wine in balance.
From the black fruits, roasted earth notes, sweet creamy vanilla bean and brooding blackberry.

Over the top vibrant and rich color draws you in to aromatics of lavender and violets....

This is a full-bodied wine for sure, but with great tension, that delivers freshness and vibrancy to this elegant wine. The palate is focused on black and red fruits, savory notes, floral and crush rocks.
