2007 Eaglepoint Ranch Petite Sirah
2007 Eaglepoint Ranch Petite Sirah
Limited Library Wine: only 5 remain

Aromatic of blackberry pie, piping hot right out of the oven. Also sweet tobacco, crème brulee, followed by hints of dark chocolate covered coffee beans. The palate is as outrageous as the aromas but with a more expansive feeling to it. This wine truly shows off what Petite Sirah is about; big, dense, dark, flamboyant, and powerful with just a touch of finesse.

The hardiest of roasted meats, stews and any meat that walks on the wild side. Tastes great with a rare to mid-rare hamburger with the works. You’ll have to forget the calorie counting for this one.

Winemaker Notes
“Eaglepoint Ranch offers sweeping vistas that take in hundreds of miles of the mountainous terrain of Mendocino County and beyond. The ranch’s mountain soil sits at an elevation of 1,700 feet and lateafternoon breezes help keep the grapes at a moderate temperature. This vineyard is truly amazing, yielding wines with extreme concentration and intense varietal character.” – Jeff Cohn
