Once again this vineyard has made a wine that truly shows what old vines and the cooler climate of Fiddletown in Amador County can create. Aromatics of freshly cracked black and white peppercorns swirl in a combo of dried cherries, warm cinnamon stick, volcanic dust and violets. On the palate this medium to full bodied wine is soft and round on the entry with cracked pepper corns and black cherry at the forefront but followed by black licorice and salted dark chocolate caramel.
