Due to the cooler vintage of 2017, we were able to allow the Grenache to hang and extra amount of time, that provided us with a wine that shows more of the complexity and depth that is El Diablo Grenache.
Starting with the garnet red color that is vibrant and just so exciting to swirl in the glass. An over the top nose that filled with black cherry, wild raspberry, strawberries, tarragon, thyme and just a hint of lavender. Very giving on the front and mid palate, with just enough structure to carry through to the explosive finish. The flavors are a complete reflection of the aromatics, but just a touch savory.
