News of the week.
First and foremost, the Grenache blanc we got from Camp 4 is totally amazing stuff. We are both barreling it down and placement in the Concrete egg will happen on the 5th of October.
We just finished processing both the Silver Eagle Syrah (A new Syrah for us, from Ulises Valdez) and the El Diablo Grenache (Also a Ulises Valdez project). Without a doubt, these two vineyards, plus the Grenache blanc, give me faith, that the rest of fruit coming in the door the rest of the week will be of the same quality.
What made processing the Silver Eagle Syrah and El diablo Grenache so special, was that we had two guest stars join us today, our tasting room manager and Alexandra, the truly better half of Jeff Cohn cellars. They were great help on the sorting table and Alexandra, in honor of National Taco day, made pork Tacos for the crew. Over all Life is great!
